Los Kantún

Since the beginning of the 20th century, the Kantún May family was the founder of the first deputies of Feria in Tizimín. After the death of Eulogio Kantún, his descendant Mercedes Kauil, known as “Don Mech Kauil”, inherited his position. Another heir was Don Amelio Kantún May, who held the position for many years until his death.
